Front of House Manager
Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
Ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably.
The 'face' of the restaurant.
Meet and greet customers.
Organise and maximise table reservations.
Advise customers on the menu and, if required, wine choice.
Provide an enjoyable and memorable dining experience.
Respond to customer complaints.
Keep track of regular guests and their preferences and requirements.
Maintain very high standards of service, hygiene, and health and safety.
Delegate effectively and efficiently to ensure that service is exemplary for our guests.
Coordinate and communicate with both the kitchen and the front of house to ensure smooth operation.
Liaise with the kitchen concerning customer requirements and feedback.
Organise the shifts of the front of house staff.
Manage staff and ensure they complete their duties according to the restaurant standards.
Supervise, train and motivate staff. Bring the best quality out of our people.
Ensure the team adheres to the restaurant uniform standards.
Ensure sufficient stock levels and supplies for operation.
Ensure the restaurant is ready for service.
Involve in daily duties.
Experience and Knowledge
A minimum of one year, preferably at least two years, at the Manager level within restaurant environments.
A high level of food and drink knowledge. Basic wine knowledge is essential.
Food and drink serving experience, gained within a hospitality environment is essential.
The fine dining experience and knowledge would be a great advantage.
Qualities, Attitude and Soft Skills
Must have the ability to lead a team and set examples for the team.
Confident communicator with a passion for providing the perfect guest experience at all times.
Excellent organisational and people management skills.
Adaptable in a fast-paced, highly demanding and constantly evolving restaurant environment.
