Pastry Chef de Partie

Job description

Key Responsibilities

- Provide vital support to the Head Chef in preparing and presenting desserts.

- Make fresh desserts using quality ingredients.

- Take ownership of the pastry section and ensure that all dishes leaving your section are prepared to the expected standards.

- Maintain a clean, tidy kitchen conforming to the health and safety regulations.

Experience, Knowledge and Competency

- Must have at least two years of experience as a Pastry Chef in high-end restaurants.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with composure and professionalism.
- Have a solid knowledge of pastry techniques.
- Able to run the pastry section and be competent in ordering and stock rotation for the section.
- Possess good knowledge of food hygiene.

Salary

- From £13 per hour. 

- Competitive depending on relevant experience.

​​​Job type

- Temporary (November and December 2024).
- Part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
