Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service consistently.
- Serve food and drinks according to restaurant standards.
- Keep up-to-date with menus.
- Recommend and upsell food and drinks.
- Support the Back of House team in delivering outstanding service.
- Keep the Front of House area and facilities clean and organised.
- Involve in the daily opening and closing tasks.
- Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures.
Experience, Knowledge and Competency
- A passion for food and drinks.
- Preferably at least one year of relevant experience in hospitality and restaurants.
Qualities, Attitude and Soft Skills
- Friendly, polite and well spoken. A people person.
- Fluent in English if it's your second language.
- Able to communicate with confidence.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Self-motivated and strive to improve performance.
- Organised, focused, conscientious and meticulous.
- Possess a positive approach to work and willingness to learn.
- Flexible with a can-do attitude.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, highly demanding and constantly evolving restaurant environment.
- Have respect for people.
Job type
- Fixed hours (Wednesday to Sunday). Minimum 10 hours per week.
- Part-time: Flexible hours, mostly Friday and Saturday evening shifts and Sunday day shift
Salary
- Competitive. From £8 per hour, depending on your relevant experience
